review of 'Flowers of/ from Evil' (1857) by Charles Baudelaire

The greatest poet and maybe thinker of France, Charles Baudelaire challegens the roots of evil.

Baudelaire's collection of small poems shows why evil is more common than good

why is it easier to say or see something bad or wrong than something good or right?

there is some pessimistic or realistic view of the human nature: we're still animals, and most of them look for evil like beasts

to extract the good from the evil is a very hard work that most people wouldn't even think about it.

9.5/10
